Soul Steppers Event
The Soul Steppers Drill Team Inc. in conjunction with the Michigan City Summer Festival will be hosting a Drill Team/Drumline competition on July 26, 2008 at the Michigan City High School.
The theme is "Show Up & Show Out", and this will be the largest competition of its kind to be held in the state of Indiana! There will be between 10-15 drill teams accompanied by drumlines competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies and cash awards, with a special performance by Michigan City's own award winning Soul Steppers Drill Team.
The teams will be traveling from as far away as Tennessee, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, and Illinois with each bringing between 25-70 members. This is sure to be another summer explosive event filled with fun entertainment for everyone!!
Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased at City Hall, Senior Center, Parks & Rec, or by calling (219) 874-2607. Children 5 and under free.
Doors open at 4:00pm
