Beaches are OPEN today.

For additional information, please call the Park Office Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 5:00PM at (219) 873-1506 or Park Security on weekends between 6:00AM and 10:00PM at (219) 873-1548.

* Lake Michigan will be tested for bacteria levels by the LaPorte County Health Department on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Those results will be available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays by 11:00AM on this page. Acceptable levels of bacteria are 234 or below; higher bacteria levels may force beach closure.
